Enrollment Procedure
Corpus Christi School admits students of any race, religion or color. When enrolling at Corpus Christi School preference is given to siblings of present students, parish families, Catholics from other parishes, and then non-Catholics.
Pre-K3 students must be three years of age by December 31st of the school year for which they are enrolling and must be toilet trained. Pre-K4 students must be four years of age by December 31st of the school year for which they are enrolling. Kindergarten students must be five years old by December 31st of the school year for which they are enrolling and must be screened for admittance.
A physical examination is required when a student enters school for the first time. Age must be verified by a birth certificate. Immunization records must be complete and presented at time of registration. A physical examination is also required for grades K, 1, 3, and 7.
The principal interviews the parents of the prospective transfering students, and reviews records and test scores. The principal meets with the prospective student who may then spend a day at the school. New students entering Kindergarten through grade 8 will be tested before any decision regarding acceptance will be made. If a child is accepted, the parents will fill out the appropriate forms and provide the school with a Baptismal certificate and verification of reception of any additional sacraments, if Catholic. the Birth certificate, immunization records, report cards and tests results must be submitted.

School uniforms for grades K-8 are supplied by Greene Uniform Company
Boys wear gray slacks, white short sleeve knit shirt and a gray sweatshirt with the Corpus Christi School insignia. Girls in grades K-5 wear plaid jumper with white short sleeve knit shirt. Girls in grades 6-8 wear plaid skirt with white short sleeve knit shirt.
Winter uniform options
Girls may wear gray slacks with white turtleneck shirt.
Spring
uniform options Boys and girls may wear gray uniform shorts with their short sleeve knit shirt.
All students are to wear belts with their slacks or shorts, and white regular length crew socks. Black shoes or sneakers with low rubber soles are required.
The gym uniform is available from the school. Students in our PreK4 program will wear their PE uniform throughout the year.
Students' hairstyles should be kept neat and simple. Boys' hair should be well groomed and include no extremes in length or styling.
One post earring per ear is acceptable for girls only. Jewelry, makeup and colored nail polish are not permitted. |
